Our Story
Higher Ground was born from a simple yet powerful vision: to create a retreat rooted in Scripture where hearts could be renewed and faith could grow deeper in Jesus Christ and God the Father. Many in our community longed for a place to reconnect with God, with one another, and with their own spiritual walk.

That vision became a reality after much prayer, conversation, and speaking God's direction. In October 2002, the very first Higher Ground retreat welcomed church leaders to experience what would soon become a movement of renewal. The impact was immediate. What began as a dream has grown into a ministry that now hosts Climbs for men, women, and church leaders; weekends designed to lift you higher in faith, draw you deeper into God's presence, and surround you with a community that encourages and uplifts.
